On 25–26 May 2023, a special BRICS STI FP Conference on Biomedical Sciences and Technologies will be conducted in Moscow.

The meeting will gather participants of the BRICS supported research projects in biomed areas, scientific researchers, technology companies, startups, medical clinical centers, BRICS STI funding agencies, experts of BRICS STI WG on biomed and biotech, young researchers, and other relevant stakeholders.

During the conference participants of the BRICS STI FP biomed-related projects will present outcomes of their studies supported as results of the four BRICS STI FP calls. Around 30 BRICS research projects in the areas of biomed sciences conducted within 2017-2022 were invited to present their results to the audience.     

One of the goals of the conference is to elaborate thematic scoping in biomed area for the upcoming call on BRICS STI Flagship Projects.
